I haven't done much with the Shorter Catechism with my kids who are still pretty young as a group (and I'm kind of sad about this, but you can only do so much, we'll get there!).
We do talk about the questions as the come up, occasionally listen to the questions and answers put to music, and I also find it helpful to go back to the Shorter and Larger Catechism when I'm looking for clear ways to explain concepts to my kids (like I did here) even if the wording I'm using for their memorization is from the Children's Catechism.
But, I know some of you are further along and you are or want to be working through the Westminster Shorter Catechism. Maybe your kids are even memorizing it as part of a program at church (our church is having our second annual "Camp Catechism" this summer... in my living room!) and you're looking for ways to help your kids with the memorization. Well, then this is for you!
Just click over here to see the list of recommended resources for the Shorter Catechism. It's a new site page, so it will live under the "Resources" menu and be easy to find as we add to it in the future.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know!
